The iJust team provide a range of expertise that includes legislative drafting, community engagement programmes, technical assistance to enhance the recovery of criminal assets and institutional capacity building – our approach is to work with key stakeholders and donors to ensure meaningful and sustainable delivery outcomes.
Our Directors have worked in the Greater Horn of Africa, MENA, Europe, North America and the Caribbean in the specialist fields of asset recovery, cybercrime, drug trafficking, gun trafficking, human slavery, money laundering, corruption, extradition, counter-terrorism and mutual legal assistance.
The iJust team use this experience to enhance the rule of law through innovative methods – applying our knowledge from successfully prosecuting and recovering assets from some of the most dangerous organised criminals around the world.
Our methodology brings tangible results – including enactment of laws on criminal procedure, investigation techniques, witness protection and civil recovery. To ensure application of these new laws we have drafted the legislation, advised Governments on implementation at Select Committees, written the legal texts used by Judges, provided training to practitioners and raised funds for essential equipment.
Our website provides more detail on our experience and current projects – with testimonials from some of our collaborative partners.
