iJust are pleased to announce the award of a new contract as part of the EuroMed Justice project. Our Director, Dan Suter, will be drafting the Handbook on EuroMed judicial and law enforcement cooperation in criminal matters – drawing on his expertise on this field for the last 10 years.
Dan is already part of the EuroMed Justice panel of key experts engaged on a legal analysis on the investigation and prosecution of complex judicial cases in the Southern Partner Countries (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestinian Authority, Israel, Jordan and Lebanon).
The overall objective of EuroMed Justice is to contribute to the development of a Euro-Mediterranean area of effective, efficient and democratic justice system respectful and protective of human rights by the strengthening of the rule of law and continuously progressing towards the alignment to international legal frameworks, principles and standards.
